Earth Day Dallas is back for its third year of celebrating the planet in North Texas. The free, family-friendly festival is April 20 and 21 at Fair Park in Dallas. This year’s festival will include 700 exciting exhibits, hands-on activities, the Radio Disney Family Zone, dance performances and much more.

Plus, special guest Leilani Munter will be at the festival this year helping us celebrate Earth Day! The professional race car driver and environmental activist was named Discovery’s Planet Green No. 1 Eco Athlete in the World and received ELLE Magazine’s 2012 Genius Award.

And for eco-athletes of all ages, the festival will have tree climbing, kids’ yoga and the DFW Truck Farm 5K Fun Run. Proceeds from the Sunday morning Fun Run will benefit the DFW Truck Farm, a traveling program that teaches kids and the community about growing local foods and gardening in small spaces.
